  • One more thing. I don't think that is a 1944 cause of the I beam shaped radious rods. Unless something was changed threw the years. I believe only the first two years of the 2N had those kind of radious rods before they changed them to smooth ones.

  • That is a sherman step up trans lever. It gives a higher speed road gear and it increases the pto speed,it has three positions ,high(back)neutral(center) and direct (foreward). Those radius arms were used in 44. I have an identical tractor 44 and all.

  • Looking at you Ford 2N brought back many "good memories" from growing up on the farm. I still have a Ford 2N back home. I am not sure what year model it is, I know it has the clutch and left brake peddle on the same side. It also has the two speed transmission like yours. If you can give me a way to find the yr. model I would like to hear from you. Thanks
